Church History
The founders of the Revival Center Church include, Bishop Jean E. Terry, Sister Joanne Henderson, Sister Ann King, and Evangelist Annie Clark. The first meeting was held in November of 1986, and shortly thereafter the Lord opened the doors for us to hold services. In the first three years, the Lord brought in many who had turned their backs on their faith and restored them in spirituality. Our church grew from four parishioners to 34, under the leadership and teaching of Bishop Jean E. Terry, prospering both spiritually and financially.
After five years, God continued to bless our church and opened a door for us to move to Landover, Maryland. In August 2004, our church was reorganized and took on a new organization name. Today, the Church continues to grow strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We are determined to be steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in Him. We are continually growing, spiritually as well as numerically.
